This episode was awesome and it's all thanks to Slash. I must confess, I didn't like Slash in the 87 series. He was less of a threat, and more of a man child. It was embarrassing (why do people love the 87 series again?). I know that Slash was different in the comics, but I haven't read the comics, so I don't know. The closes thing to the Slash that I wanted was in the movie Turtles Forever. Yes I know he was actually Hun, but I still call him Slash. So how was this Slash? FUCKING AWESOME!!! Now this is the Slash that I always wanted. Big, mean, strong, not retarded like the 87 version, and able to take down the turtles without breaking a sweat. In fact, we see the turtles beaten and bruised by Slash, and it shows that this Slash doesn't fuck around. Also this Slash is voiced by Corey Feldman, who also voiced Donnie in the TMNT movie.
All in all, this was a dark and awesome episode. Slash was awesome, and we get to see Raph grow as a character. Even though he gets pissed off at his brothers, he still loves them and doesn't want anything and to happen to them. Give this episode a watch, I think you'll enjoy it. Also, you gotta love Leo having tea time with a little girl.
